One side is rational. The other side is irrational. So you understand who is who, Iran is the irrational actor in this situation. Rational doesn't mean perfect or completely innocent. But it does mean not fucking nuts which is what Iran is.

lol, there is history before 10/7. This would be akin to Russia occupying Ukraine in 1948 and treating them like shit since then and continually occupying them.

And if the Ukranians launched thousands of missiles at Moscow and then went on a murderous rampage killing every Russian man, woman, and child they could find to the tune of over a thousand dead in a matter of hours, I don't think many people would have a problem with Russia invading.

Palestinians and Iranians kill people for being gay. They treat their women like property. Not really into that side.
 
The vast majority of Muslim majority countries in the world have no quarrel or hostility with the united states. "They" don't "hate us." Hostilities emerge from terrorist organizations. Meanwhile, Russia invades multiple sovereign nations, annexes territories, and openly threatens its European neighbors - most of whom are our allies by treaty.

Hamas clearly does not negotiate in good faith - mostly because they have lost the war but they don't want to give up the fight. There is no avenue to save face - so they hold on, accepting martyrdom. The Netanyahu government is not negotiating in good faith either because most of Netanyahu's coalition just wants to clear out Gaza for annexation and future settlement. The war between Gaza and Israel has been a disaster for both sides. There is no win/win here - the fight will drag on until either all of Hamas are killed or all Gazans are relocated. There is no one left to change this situation.

Oh Trump thinks Iran will negotiate now that they've been bombed? Mr. Amazing Dealmaker is hoping that violence will get Iran to sign . . . the same deal Trump ripped up a decade ago, the same one that was achieved by diplomacy alone.

The only way to look at these Iran negotiations is that it's a massive failure by Trump going back a decade.
