Then that is abhorrent but letting things like this become shortcuts to clear speech is part of what got us here. It's just like the blurb I saw about the shooting the other day that said essentially, Quran found in cars. Links to terrorism suspected". Substitute Bible and imagine that. When code words lead to sloppy thinking and sloppy ideas, we're compounding our problems. Rant on pause.:oops:

That is exactly what happened and exactly what I think most of us expected. I believe several people predicted that the Venezuela operation was going to lead to overconfidence by Trump.

So he admits that Iran's nuclear program had already been obliterated and therefore wasn't a threat, and it would have taken them many years, if ever, to rebuild somewhere else. So why the hell are we bombing them? Based on what is no doubt very dubious intel from Israel that they were going to attack somebody? Who? That we were going to kill their leaders to effect regime change? Boy, that's really working out well! Every time he opens his mouth he's just undermining the reasons his minions are giving for us bombing them. Idiocracy indeed.

This is what asymmetric warfare is all about. Why wouldn't they use human shields? I'm not saying it's right. I'm saying it's reality. It's essentially their missile defense system -- incredibly crude but not ineffective. This is one reason why aerial bombardment can't be appetizer, meal and dessert all at once. It puts the US in a position where we have to kill school girls because our bombs can't tell the difference.

Over half of the Iranian population is non-Persian. I wonder about the borders as the security apparatus is degraded, particularly the Arabs and the Azeri.
