This is misleading at best. The UN as a collective body did not condemn Hamas. Many UN agencies and UN leadership condemned the attacks strongly. The information that comes from the UN does not come from the member states -- most of it comes from the agencies or the leadership. So as usual your points are ill-informed.

Here the UN does condemn Hamas for Oct 7. Better? It takes two to tango and both Iran and Israel are behaving atrociously with regard to human rights or civil rights. So you can't really use human rights as our excuse when we are attacking Iranians but not Israelis despite them both being the culprit in this mess.

Not sure what you mean by "them both being the culprit in this mess." If you mean that the terrorist organization that runs Gaza, Hamas, has publicly made their intentions to wipe Israel off the face of the Earth, and Israel is taking actions to prevent that, yes, I guess they're both "culprits" in the mess.

The truly uninformed are those who don't condemn 10/7. The fact that they are apart of the UN is baffling.

The UN shouldn't expect to be taken seriously.

That's because the US used the National Security Council to defang them against Israel in the 70s. Later, in return, the USSR and later Russia did much the same for Syria and Iran. Don't blame the countries, blame the NSC

Israel just wiped a bunch of people off the face of the earth from Iran, Gaza and Lebanon. And Iran (and the rest of the ME) wouldn't have those intentions if Israel had taken steps to mitigate over the yrs rather than escalating (building more settlements and abusing Palestinians).

And is Israel actually preventing anything short-term or long-term?

Iran has also claimed that they hit the Lincoln 2 weeks ago.

I'm more likely to believe that the administration is pressuring the carriers to stay out longer than usual and that is creating maintenance issues.

Correct. Putin and Xi halted blaming Hamas for their continued terrorist activity.

Bibi can also now act as a terrorist against Palestinians and a warmonger vs. Iran and Lebanon...I have no problem with targeted strikes by IDF and Mossad against terrorist Hezbollah, but a full invasion didn't work in 1982...and it won't now.

Looks like we completely f*cked that up. We haven't had the intel and Black Ops/Mossad on the inside or strategery to topple the theocratic regime instead of playing whack-a-mole. We have no Plan B. Winning battles and losing the war. Again.

I read they are in their 10th month of a 6 month deployment and likely will hit 12 months before returning, which would be a record. Sailor fatigue must surely be setting in. They've also been dealing with a toilet crisis with the pipes constantly clogging which is also hurting morale.
