My recollection is that almost every time we get involved in something like this , construction goes straight into the toilet. I'm going to bet this isn't an economic stimulus.
Oil prices will spike as Iran threatens the Straits of Hormuz and capital markets will be torpedoed by the uncertainty and chaos created by the “Peace President,”

Haven't the Iranians been trying to assassinate Trump? This might push them to try harder, knowing that they now have nothing to lose.

I guess I’m not up on Iran’s defense capabilities, but I don’t really see them as a threat. I see this kind of like Iraq. They can’t stand against the US military. The real problem comes in when military objectives are met. The administration is not up to the task of dealing with what remains. Regime change, nation building , puppet leadership. All disasters waiting to happen.

But I guess it’s possible I’m wrong about Iran’s military capabilities and that will be a shit show too.

You can commit genocide by air but you can't take objectives. Where do we base land forces and what's the lag time? Are we really going to tie ourselves to Israel so inextricably in the eyes of the rest of the ME?

Trump: ‘Freedom’ for Iran is goal of ‘major military operation’

The president spoke to The Washington Post early Saturday after announcing that the U.S. had begun striking Iran to bring about regime change.
President Donald Trump told The Washington Post early Saturday that his main concern is “freedom” for the Iranian people as the U.S. launched military strikes in the country.

How many freedoms are we looking to bestow on Iranians that this administration is also seeking to curtail at home? Free and fair elections? The state no longer exerting ideological pressure on universities? The state no longer controlling media? The state no longer discriminating against LGBTQ?

We put boots on the ground in Iraq. The buildup to this attack shows no such planning for an invasion force. Apparently Trump believes he can bomb them into submission and the surviving Iranian citizens will take it from there.

As an American, I am embarrassed and ashamed to be allied with Israel in this exercise in aggression. How much of American taxpayers money will be spent fulfilling Netanyahu’s wet dream?
