Beshear fits the demo but he is so boring. I’d like to take a mishmash of the various potential candidates and create a perfect candidate. But unfortunately, I think we are going to have accept a candidate with some flaws. Hopefully, that candidate will offer enough upside to offset the potential liabilities.

Of all the MAGA Vulcan Fox fantasy thinking going on right now (seizing a 50 mile barrier along the Iranian coastline, escorting tankers, establishing puppets via the Kurds & Balochs) I think this is the silliest. The idea of sending in 1,000+ operators on helicopters plus their 3x in Rangers 500km into Iranian territory to take on a tunnel complex that is likely completely unmapped (although rumors are Kidon has blueprints) and filled with completely unknown numbers of IRGC. The Iranians will know as soon as they arrive, if not sooner, and be able to throw drones/artillery at them. Oh yeah and then, should they somehow complete the insane mission, they have to get out.
