There is a lot of collateral damage because that's exactly how Hamas operates and what it wanted to happen, unfortunately. Palestinian civilians don't seem to mean a lot to either side here.
All right. You're praising Israel and then admitting they don't give a fuck about Palestinian civilians. Like WTF dude

He said they were on a guided tour and were not limited on what they could film in the spots that they were led to. They were not given permission to freely go on their own all over the hospital.
Hell, you can't freely walk around Cone hospital in Greensboro when your father is in the ICU. No one anywhere is going to open the doors and give that kind of access.

Yup, missing 10/7 was an absolute blunder. They have done their best to make up for it since, but once the war is over an investigation into how the warning signs were missed needs to be completed and those responsible need to be punished.

I don't know that there has ever been a war under these conditions to say there is a lot of collateral damage...but I'll go with it.

There's "a lot" of collateral damage because Hamas convinces people to stay in harms way and uses them as human shields. Some number are happy to oblige because being a martyr guarantees you and your family an eternity of paradise and you get to bang virgins for the rest of eternity.

There's also "a lot" of collateral damage because they are fighting urban warfare in a very densely populated area. Going from memory, Gaza has about 2.5 million people in a 140 sq mi area. Again...going from memory.

The other factor is that the Health Ministry doesn't count fighters and civilians separately.

EDIT: I'll note that, given the circumstances, IF Israel was being indiscriminate with their weapons, the casualties would be significantly higher. Hamas killed about 1,000 civilians in a matter of hours using only hand-held weapons, as far as I know. Israel has killed ~40k in over a year.

The topic was Hamas tunnels specifically located under civilian buildings, like hospitals. Is there any doubt that Hamas has tunnels under hospitals, given that we have video of Hamas tunnels under a hospital?

Israel isn't perfect, but taking the word of terrorists because of a few mistakes by Israel is like MAGA turning to Gateway Pundit because of a few mistakes by MSM. It's a losing proposition.
Thats a horrible analogy.

Ever notice that the problems with multiple countries have one common denominator? Isreal.

"Bang virgins" wow.

This "war" was wanted by Isreal they are the 250 lb, 6'5" NFL linebacker beating up on the 125 lb school librarian.

We should stop selling them weapons and see how quickly they would agree to a cease fire.

Yep...bang virgins. That's one of the rewards for being a martyr.

There was a cease fire on October 6th.

A permanent cease fire?

So the Palestinians can start to rebuild before Isreal annexes the land?
Yes, unless you believe Israel was going to arbitrarily attack Gaza, there was effectively a permanent cease fire in place on October 6th

Why does Google not provide any links when I ask about the ceasefire on October 6th?

But there are reports of attacks and dead leaders this week?

I guess I missed the permanent cease fire.

I don’t blame you for not following what he’s saying because he’s a dumbass.

He’s saying that before 10/7/23, there was a “ceasefire” in Gaza because Hamas had not yet attacked Israel. That is, Hamas and Palestinians are solely to blame for any actions Israel takes against them.

He’s just devoid of any facts on the history of the region or the conflict, and he’s admitted as much. He’s just here to derail and troll this thread about an actual genocide that’s taking place.

He hasn’t bothered to learn a single thing. He’s just rolled with whatever slop Israel throws out there to justify their continued extermination campaign against the Palestinian people.

To him, history started on October 7, 2023. He knows nothing of the events that took place before.
Thanks. I didn't want to sound too ignorant so I tried to find information, but it wasn't there.

This helps.

There are probably a hundred countries or more that are currently dealing with the problem of Muslim extremists, AKA Jihadist and those worldwide problems have nothing to do with Jews or Israel.

Nobody should expect this problem to resolved in our lifetimes or the lifetimes of our children or their children.

Muslim extremists have publicly vowed to continue to try to wipe Israel off the map. War is terrible and ugly and the loss of civilian life is unfortunate, but Israel has no choice but two wage war. I would add, again, that this is not a problem that is unique to Israel. Most of the world is fighting to stop Muslim extremism.

Right, which is why the claim that there is no bunker under the hospital because some journalists got a guided tour of an operating room is dubious.

I'm saying Israel is the better of the two (I guess three now, if we are counting Hezbollah) by a wide measure. This does not mean that Israel is blameless. But I'll take the flawed democracy over the jihadist terror triad all day long.

More racist slop.
Islam is a religion, not a race. Ridding the world of Islamist terror would allow the 99.9% of other Muslims who don't subscribe to such extremism to live in peace. As it stands Muslims are often the victims of Islamist terror groups. But that is a digression.
