Wrong! I despise Trump and everything he stands for. But if his efforts here contribute to ending the killing and suffering of innocent civilians and children then I will gladly give him every ounce of his due in this.

I won’t roll over and let him become an authoritarian dictator here at home. But if this Helps ends the suffering, he’ll get full marks from me for his role in getting this peace accord signed.
 


Senior American official: The war in Gaza has ended. The hostages will be released 72 hours after the Israeli cabinet approves the agreement. The assessment is that this will happen at the latest on Monday.

You said "Gaza? check"

That wasn't my language. If you had said, "release the hostages? check" I might have cut you a little more slack. Or even if you had said, "Gaza ceasefire? check" I might have given you the benefit of the doubt. But to say Gaza was a check? That seems a bit much.

Also, you then mentioned Chicago and Portland, as if Trump is permanently solving problems in a seriatim fashion. Just putting 200 national guard troops in a city for a month doesn't solve anything. It is all about a show. How will Portland or Chicago or Gaza be a "check" a year from now?

Except we should also factor in all who died and suffered while Trump sucked Bibi's dick for nine months. Not to mention Ukraine.

I'd be glad to see peace but Trump doesn't get any due. Had this happened in February, maybe.
 
Even the foreign policy experts on Morning Joe are singing Trump’s praise stating HE is the only person on earth who could have negotiated this deal. Trump’s unique relationship with Middle Eastern leaders and his pressure on Israel closed this deal.

While you do this song and dance that supposes liberals care more about Trump failing than they do Middle East peace, it surely seems that you care more about Trump being praised than you do absolutely anything else.
