Sounds like what anyone who has ever read anything he has said in the past would expect him to say. But I cannot confirm the translation.

Israel Hits Dozens of Targets in Gaza After Saying Hamas Killed Troops in Attack

Israel accuses militant group of violating truce; Hamas’s armed wing denies mounting any attack on Israeli troops

“… Israel decided to halt humanitarian aid, which Israeli officials confirmed, following calls from Israeli politicians across the political spectrum for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to respond forcefully to the attack against troops.

… Flare-ups of fighting between the two sides have occurred several times since the cease-fire came into effect, but this is the first time that Israel has responded with widespread strikes across Gaza. It is also the first time Hamas successfully killed troops since the halt to fighting….”

So, Israel starts pulling out and thousands of Hamas terrorists immediately restart fighting not only Israel, but murdering over a hundred Gazans in a relatively obvious attempt to, among other things, retain power.

If I woke up tomorrow to find the sun rising, I would be equally shocked.

Violent clashes have erupted between Hamas and rival groups in several areas across Gaza, including an incident that culminated in an apparent public execution, as worries grow about the security situation following Israel’s withdrawal from parts of the territory.

FWIW:

Hamas turns to executions as it tries to establish a monopoly on force in Gaza

Yea, but we don't know what leverage Biden was able to get through that threat
Possibly right. Things have gone downhill with a more pliable Trump.

But I don't think Biden can be trumpeting what he was able to do for those Palestinian civilians in Gaza or the West Bank. It wasn't all that great before even before Oct 7th and Biden parroting the burned babies propaganda amongst other things didn't help after Oct 7th.

But at least the pro Israeli lobby got what they paid for from their donations. Biden literally got the most donations of any senator from 1990 to 2004 although he had a couple presidential runs that may or may not be included in that total. Don't ever let anybody tell you that Biden doesn't give value for your bribes.

If it was true that our military could "straighten out Hamas", aka eliminate them, I would support it.
Of course it is true we could eliminate Hamas. We could drop a nuke on Gaza and wipe out everybody. But I'm pretty sure you would not support that.

That's the problem. Israel spent 2 years trying to surgically remove Hamas and there are apparently thousands still alive.
