Israel launches attack on Iran | US bombs Iran nuke sites

Sam Seder told an interesting story on air yesterday about being backstage with Carlson during the Iraq War. Carlson said something along the lines of “I don’t care about this shit,” but then went back on air to continue shilling for the war.

The Buchananite wing of the Republican Party has always hated the neocons. The contempt is just much more out in the open now that the right-wing media space exists beyond Fox News and radio. The left needs to exploit this relentlessly.
Is Tucker or is Ted Cruz the Buchananite wing of the GOP?

IDF calls this a “message of victory over Iran”
Perhaps the IDF bravado is in part justified as Iran has been pummeled but also meant to camouflage this:

Israel Is Running Low on Defensive Interceptors, Official Says

A shortage of Arrow interceptors has set off a scramble to augment Israel’s defenses

“… The U.S. has been aware of the capacity problems for months, the official said, and Washington has been augmenting Israel’s defenses with systems on the ground, at sea and in the air. Since the conflict escalated in June, the Pentagon has sent more missile defense assets into the region, and now there is concern about the U.S. burning through interceptors as well. …”

Bibi has bet big on drawing Trump into the conflict with Iran. If Israel decides they have to cut their losses and declare victory to give themselves time to restock their military capacity, that may work in the short run but will render the decision to attack Iran a dangerous gamble and possible debacle if the nuclear capacity is left intact with no diploma alternative to restrain it. A weakened Iran may see no other option that going all in on completing a nuclear weapon to protect itself against future attacks.

I’m still wondering why Trump had to flee the G7?

Why did Herr Drumpf have rapidly return to DC in the midst of a major international meeting?
He had to get back to oversee the installation of the new flag poles at the White House.

Trump could cure cancer, establish World Peace, end hunger around the world and have the GDP going up on a regular basis and you'd still hate him.

In fact, I don't support him precisely because he has:

(a) stopped clinical trials and research funding for promising medical breakthroughs that include, but are not limited to, cancer treatments.
(b) has dithered while wars in Ukraine and the Middle East grind on and even expand.
(c) has dramatically cut aid with little warning so that tens of thousands in Africa will die of hunger or lack of medical treatment.
(d) created the foundation for stagflation with his policies of tariffs, immigration enforcement and a debt-busting budget.

So that means you are 0 for 4 on baseless accusations. Maybe you should go back to whacking off to the soothing sounds of Mark Levin's voice.

My guess is he was being treated as having the smallest dick at the table.... too many big words being used in discussions, too much fancy nuanced informed geopolitical issues being addressed.

But in all seriousness, I think he was being confronted with the fact that he is no longer being considered as the leader of the free world and suffered a narcissistic injury from that rejection.
