This is old news, I haven't been paying enough attention, but Jordan has been having to use it's own military force to help intercept missiles from IRAN (claiming self-defense for their own land and people), syria has been letting israeli jets refuel on syrian soil, and Saudi Arabia has been letting israel intercept missiles from IRAN over their soil.

I find it hard to believe that current conditions warrant this unless there is a lot more serious info we are not being told. OTOH, Rumsfeld flew around in these things regularly when he was SecDef.
