Because I'm certain that Antifa members have been arrested and, I would hope, documented as such, like we are aware that specific convicts are gang members and what gang they are apart of.
How do you know when someone is an antifa "member"? Do they have a membership card? Official antifa membership rolls? Is there an antifa email newsletter one can sign up for?

Seems like there would be an article out there about something like this, doesn’t it?

not necessarily. there are dozens of street gangs in CA and I bet local police have a good idea of who's in those gangs, but I've never seen an article.

But, now you're just moving the goal post, so.....

Oh? Remind me who wrote this?

“Technically.... technically ....I agree about matching known Antifa to J6 rioters.”

Right, I do agree, but rather than discuss that, you immediately went to the claim that Antifa members don't even exist:

Seems like SOMEONE should have names, don't you think? I'm not aware of ANY list of self-identified antifa members that has not proven to be a hoax.

And when that didn't work, you started moving the goal post.

This is what you wrote.

I asked "Like Who?"

I feel sure I'll be sickly amused at the mental gymnastics involved to "document" someone as Antifa

Lacy Macauley, btw, is shown in this video from 2017 (which is the source of the quotation that you provided). She actually identified herself as an anarchist.

There is another person there, Daryle Lamont Jenkins, who, according to the video, "describes himself as the intelligence officer for antifa." That said, we never actually hear him say that.

There is also a good shot of a nazi (Richard Spencer) being punched by, presumably, someone who probably is, in some way, with antifa.

McCauley later refers to someone shot: "He was an antifa member and he was shot..."

Here's the original ABC video report (there is no actual text story):

Note that this is all from August 19, 2017.

As someone who is a researcher and very engaged in accuracy of sources I find this link within a link fairly shakey. I'd make a student do better.

By The Way, this is the instagram account of Lacey Macauley: Login • Instagram

Here is her facebook page: Log into Facebook

Here is her Linked in: https://www.linkedin.com/in/lacy-macauley-a10b1617/

Her page at Common Dreams: Lacy Macauley

Her media presence is quite large...it literally goes on and on.

Daryl Lamont Jenkins has a wikipedia page: Daryle Lamont Jenkins - Wikipedia

Here's a sampling of information about Jenkins that is "out there."

I'm left to assume, based on the opinion of multiple posters, that these groups were started by non-human mammals.

In 2007, Rose City Antifa, likely the first group to utilize the name antifa, was formed in Portland, Oregon by former ARA members.[86][5][87] Other antifa groups in the United States have other genealogies. In Minneapolis, Minnesota, a group called the Baldies was formed in 1987 with the intent to fight neo-Nazi groups directly.[63] In 2013, the "most radical" chapters of ARA formed the Torch Antifa Network,[88] which has chapters throughout the United States.[89] Other antifa groups are a part of different associations such as NYC Antifa or operate independently.[90]

Perhaps you think so but that information does not help your case...quite the contrary.

No, doesn't help my case at all. It clearly helps the case of those who believe that there were no people who considered themselves to be members of Antifa. I mean, it's not like formally formed groups have, you know..... members.
