So very weird.
So very weird.
+1. For me one of the most telling photos in modern politics was when the new House Democratic majority was sworn in in January 2019. It was a photo of the entire House chamber, and the difference between the two parties was stark - on one side were the new majority Democrats, who were visibly very diverse with lots of women and people of color, and on the other side the Republican members - nearly all white and male - were just staring at the new majority with a mixture of surprise, disdain, and fear. Pretty much the story of modern American politics.By skin color, yeah maybe a bit darker. And there are plenty of folks on that side of the aisle who see that as ominous.

DesantisHonest question, is JD worse at retail politics than Ted?
I can’t recall a candidate for pres/vp with this level of clumsiness in routine social interactions.

he isn’t running for vice president. One of the associates doesn’t want to be on camera …lol! And then the awkward silence when he thinks she doesn’t recognize him and he says he’s running for vice president, and she’s like, “uh-huh…”. I LOVE IT.
When he asked how long the store had been there, and they said 4 years, I SO WANTED them to say they were able to open thanks to biden’s COVID small business loan assistance.
