Great. We get to call some Republicans racist. That makes some people feel really good but it still means Trump is in office.

I'm sure there are people that are never going to vote for a black person, but Obama showed you don't need those people. You do need the people that will vote for a black person and Kamala didn't get as many of those as she needed to.

Maybe no Democrat could have. Inflation was a pretty big issue with the electorate so the incumbent party was going to take a hit. But Harris did okay out of the gate as the anti-trump candidate. She really faltered as the Harris candidate which a whole lot of people didn't really like as the campaign went on and people got more exposed to her.

We don't get to call some republicans racist. Republicans ARE racist. Inflation was a big issue the world over. And it was well on it's way to torpedoing our economy long before Joe Biden spanked Trumps fat orange ass. We all know this... I have no desire to rehash those details, which have been repeated all over this forum for the last six months.

There were things I found myself wanting to hear from Harris that I never heard. And quite frankly, towards the end, her answers, which remained pretty constant, grew stale. That didn't deter me from voting for her one iota. And none of that makes Jill Biden a better candidate. If you actually listened to both candidates during the election cycle, this choice was a layup. Undecided? give me a break.

I guess if you've decided Republicans are racist based on conversations you have had with a bunch of other people that tell you Republicans are racist, then there's no need to rehash the details about Republicans being racist.

I assume your suggestion is to only run pale candidates with a decent resume and keep the same Democratic platform that people say they don't like but really they're just pretending so they don't have to admit they're racist and we should win. Sounds pretty easy.

I haven't "decided Republicans are racist"

There's a saying in recruiting. Watch what they do, not what they say. It applies to politicians.

You know the old axiom about assuming.

Most of the white people that I grew up with voted for trump. Those people surrendered to their racist inclinations rather than fighting them.

You know as much as we dog Trump for kind of being an idiot and not really understand the issues and being an absolutely lunatic, he was actually a really good candidate.

He's a weak president but he is a really good candidate. He is as media savvy as anybody since Reagan. He has Obama/Bill Clinton level charisma.
For idiots, yes. For people who could detect that everything he ever said was bullshit, that he was always lying, who could see that he was running on a platform of hate -- that's not a good candidate.

Convincing idiots to vote for you is not easy. If it were, everyone could be president. Unfortunately, the skills needed to be elected president and the skills needed to be president are very different.

What the fuck...

Describe good candidate as you see it, because I cannot agree.

He was just lucky that he had the time and money to run for 4 years. That lots of uninformed voters like the macho make fun of other's type. I mean, look at our own Silence DoNoGood, he gets really excited to see others misfortunes.

Him winning says less about his qualifications as a candidate and more about our school system.

I was listening to a podcast today that stated that voters that regularly watched the news slightly favored Harris. Voters that get most of their news from social media, slightly favored trump. Voters that typically do not engage in the news greatly voted for trump.

Are you fucking kidding me. They are eating the dogs, they are eating the cats. It's fucking racist as all hell. The whole "protect the borders" shit is racist, no matter how hard you fuckers try to deny it.

Anyway, most of us have experience with racists. Like, people doing openly racist things. For instance, what I would perceive when with my brown skinned first wife. Those people are overwhelmingly GOP.

So you are OK with someone else running the country other than the "elected" POTUS?

As long as it is your team am I right?
If the 2020 election didn't consist of the most mail-in ballots in US election history, unmonitored drop boxes on street corners, voting long before election day, counting any votes that show up long after, do you really, and I mean really, believe Joe would have won that election?

46% of people voted absentee or mail-in. Everyone knows mail-in ballots are the most susceptible to fraud. And what, Joe won by a little over 40,000 votes total in 3 states?

But yet the Democrats, and their bedfellows the liberal media, would have you believe that the 2020 election with the most votes in election history being cast in the form most susceptible to voter fraud was somehow the most secure election in history of this country. LOL, damn....I guess a fool is born every day.

Well, Joe won and here we are, trying to recover from a deliberate clusterfuck at the southern border that this whole country (including you Democrats) will pay the price for forever, record inflation, massive damage done to the economy, businesses, and children from mandatory Covid lockdowns, Afghanistan, Ukraine, Isreal and Gaza, and on and on and on.

The Republicans better wake up a realize what they are up against with this new radical Democrat party. They have proven the extremes they will go to in order to try to gain and maintain power. But hey, you gotta give it to the Democrats, they will really go for it.

"But I'm really not as cool as I'd like to be
'Cause there's a red under my bed
And there's a little yellow man in my head
And there's a true blue inside of me
That keeps stoppin' me, touchin' ya, watchin' ya, lovin' ya

Paranoia, the destroyer"

Mail in ballots are also more likely to get shoved up your gigantic stinky asshole but that doesn't it happened.

As for your claims about the economy, rest assured that you remain as ignorant as ever. Did you see Moody's just downgraded the US? You know why? NOT JOE BIDEN! It's because the GOP is planning on adding $5T to the debt under optimistic assumptions about the economy; between the recession, lower tax revenue, and mass firing of auditors, collections might very well fall way below projections, widening that debt even further.

The economy in January 2025 was in outstanding shape, and Trump has decimated it. You know it; we all know it. I'm very happy that we let in a lot of migrants. They are valuable to this country. I would trade 10 of you for the guy who did my roof last year.

How is it racist to want to prevent millions upon millions of unvetted, indigent people from pouring in from countries that YOU would consider so dangerous that anyone claiming asylum trying to escape the violence in these countries should be allowed to just walk right on into the US?

Do you not realize just by looking at percentages that if you allow millions of unvetted people from the most dangerous places in the world to just walk in that at least a certain percentage of those people would be the exact same criminals who made the counties all these people are trying to escape from as dangerous as they are? I mean, use your brain dude.

What about the people they will kill, rape, rob, in this country. Think about the money that will be spent on trying to solve the crimes they will commit, prosecute the one who are caught, incarcerate the ones sentenced to prison. How much more of an additional burden will be placed on our social services trying to feed, house, educate, provide healthcare to millions of more people?

Everyone with a functioning brain who is not so blinded by loyalty to a bunch of politicians who don't give a shit about you should be extremely concerned about the mission the Biden administration carried out at the southern border, and it has nothing to do with race. Get off that bullshit.

There you go with your dumbass takes again. Let me quote it for you since you struggle so with accuracy...."Successive US administrations and Congress have failed to agree on measures to reverse the trend of large annual fiscal deficits and growing interest costs." Did you get the part "Successive"? Do you know the definition of that word?

But for someone who likely believed all the lies told to them by the Biden administration, also believing Trump is solely responsible for the downgrade should probably be a given. How does it feel being that gullible?
