I feel for you, my friend...Having dealt with my brother for 8+ years, that’s easier said than done.
Like my brother, Kyle Singler is an adult. Like my daughter.
“Talking” them into treatment is difficult.
Let’s take another family member - my Mom. She has Alzheimer’s and definitely has diminished mental capacity. Barring going all Nurse Ratched on my Mom, I have limited ability to suggest a course of action. I certainly can’t force an action - and, she has the brain of a toddler.
I had the same struggle with my Mom for two years. It sounds crazy, but the blessing for me was she suffered an injury ( a fall in the bathtub ) that put her in the hospital which allowed me to discharge her to assisted living . She didn't realize she was leaving her home. Of course at that point she thought I was her husband so she did not object.
