I honestly don't know this guy from Adam and had never heard of him before 2 weeks ago when he resigned. Maybe there's video out there of him stomping on kids driedels or something. But based on the post you made and the letter he wrote it looks to me like he's definitely anti-israel, especially with regards to getting us involved in their proxy battles. The evidence for anti-Semitism seems a whole lot thinner to me.

Which I guess is the point. Being anti-israel doesn't make one anti-Semitic even as plenty of Israeli supporters want to frame it as so.

i am pretty anti-israel. i have several jewish friends who are very anti-israel. so, i absolutely hear you on anti-israel =/= anti-semitic.

The stated reason was to counter ISIS, but there were also justifications of Syrian government forces using chemical weapons and getting too chummy with iran. Israel actually provided that intelligence about chemical weapons used to the US.

As of today, the Syrian government has been overthrown while ISIS is still around.
