Not sure of your question or what you are asking. Some things are self explanatory
“But that doesn't mean that lady won't be getting in either.”

Put yourself in “that lady’s” shoes.

You has waited in line for quite some time to legally request asylum, only to be turned away minutes before taking the first step to legal citizenship. How would you feel about the statement, “How would I have any idea what the new protocol will be? Hell, they likely dont know either.”

What do you do now? Where do you go? How much hope do you have of realizing your dream of becoming an American citizen, and escaping whatever it is that led you to seek asylum in the first place?

If you were in her shoes, would you be so flippant about your chances of entering the country legally, at some unforeseen point in the future, for some currently unknown “new protocol”?

Would being told the equivalent of “you’ll get ‘em next time,” suffice?

None of us know what her situation is. Whatever it is I’m sure it’s heartbreaking for her and the many in similar circumstances. What do you do? Give her special treatment because you saw her on a video posted to evoke the emotions you are displaying? There has to be a stopping point somewhere. I don’t feel bad for her specifically. I feel badly for all who will experience that disappointment but there has to be a new beginning point and she would have an opportunity at that time. That sucks but there was always going to be some pain involved. Trump didn’t create the border shit show but he campaigned on cleaning it up and there was an overwhelming amount of public support for undoing Biden’s mess. There are going to be thousands or hundreds of thousands of sad and emotionally difficult cases. Unfortunately we find ourselves in this situation because of Joe and Kamala. Place the blame where it is deserved

Trump Starts Immigration Crackdown, Enlisting the Military and Testing the Law

The president’s Day 1 actions included directives that fly in the face of legal limits on involving the military in domestic operations and the constitutional guarantee of birthright citizenship.

“… Mr. Trump moved to block asylum seekers altogether, essentially sealing the border against those looking for protection in the United States. The Trump administration argued the illegal border crossings posed a national security and public health concern.

Rather than citing a specific threat of disease, Mr. Trump simply said that migrants did not provide border authorities with “comprehensive health information,” posing a public health concern.

He declared a national emergency at the U.S.-Mexico border to allow him to circumvent Congress and unlock federal funding for border wall construction and other enforcement efforts.

Mr. Trump appeared to go further than simply having the military support border authorities with construction. He also signed an order that gave the military an explicit role in immigration enforcement and directed the Defense Department to come up with a plan “to seal the borders and maintain the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and security of the United States by repelling forms of invasion.”

The directive would likely clash with an 1870s law called the Posse Comitatus Act, which generally limits the use of regular federal troops for domestic policing purposes. …”

“… In another order issued on Monday, Mr. Trump declared that his government would no longer treat the U.S.-born children of undocumented people as citizens, signaling his intention to essentially ignore the constitutional guarantee of birthright citizenship.

… The move would amount to an extraordinary change of the 157-year-old 14th Amendment, and within hours it prompted a lawsuit from the American Civil Liberties Union.

Mr. Trump cannot abolish birthright citizenship on his own. Any change to the Constitution requires supermajority votes in Congress, and then ratification by three-quarters of the states.

But denying certain immigrants’ children of citizenship documents would effectively mean that they could be barred from using public services, which could have the same effect as abolishing the right. …

Mr. Trump signed an order that rescinded an array of former President Joseph R. Biden Jr.’s immigration policies, including one that established a task force to reunite families separated by Mr. Trump’s zero-tolerance policy.

Another restored Mr. Trump’s efforts to withhold federal funds from local agencies that refuse to cooperate with Immigrations and Customs Enforcement. …”

“… In one executive order, Mr. Trump also raised the prospect of imposing travel bans, similar to his first term.

He directed his administration to take 60 days to identify countries where thoroughly vetting visitors and visa applicants is not feasible and poses a potential risk to national security. In those instances, the administration should consider whether there should be a full or partial ban on admitting people from those countries into the United States.

Mr. Trump also suspended refugee resettlement and enhanced the vetting of those seeking to come to the United States from overseas.

He signed an executive order to end “catch and release,” which refers to the practice of releasing migrants into the United States to await a court appearance after they cross the border. The details of that order, like many of Mr. Trump’s actions, remain unclear. …”

Trump refugee ban ‘strands Afghans endangered by US withdrawal’

More than 1,600 people eligible to resettle in the United States are waiting to flee Afghanistan and Pakistan, say advocates

“… The decision has led to panic among prospective Afghan refugees, including family members of hundreds of active-duty service personnel and children waiting to be reunited with family members already in the US, according to a leading refugee resettlement activist and a US official who spoke with the Guardian on condition of anonymity.

Many of those who have applied are in danger and have time-sensitive reasons to leave the country or neighbouring Pakistan because of their past association with the US, they said. After the White House published the executive order on Monday evening, refugees eligible for resettlement will be pulled from manifests for flights leaving the region for the US as of 27 January.

That leaves one week for advocates of Afghan refugees to lobby for a separate executive order or amendment to exclude them from the ban. …”

It is shameful these folks are still there in any event.

This won’t stand and made his actions as bad and dumb as Biden’s when he added ERA to the constitution

Biden's administration should have done whatever it would take to already have this process completed except for severe outlier cases. It was easily predictable this would happen if/when Trump took office.

He bailed on them the first time why would this be any different. Was probably to busy with his preemptive pardons.
