Not wrong.
Yeah, you are wrong. The post you responded to, the same one you quoted, was making the point that the type of weapons used in mass shootings in the United States versus in places like Australia matters. That was the whole point. Had nothing to do with race, religion, or ethnicity. You were the one who made a nasty comment about letting Jihadists into the country when nobody was talking about race, ethnicity, or religion.

So another mass shouting by a white man. Seems we have a white man issue.
We don’t, according to statistics. If you go by the FBI definition of a mass shooting, the racial makeup of the shooters closely mirrors the racial demographics of the US as a whole. If you go by the clickbaity definition of mass shooting that includes gang shootouts and drive-by shootings, whites are underrepresented amongst the shooters.

I actually did not know that gang violence and the sort was included in that data. Appreciate that tidbit.

Apologies to everyone (yes, including ramrouser) for my profanity in a couple of my posts. Been wanting to work harder lately to not direct coarse language at other posters personally and I slipped up. I’m sorry and will work harder to be better.

It depends on the data that you are using because there is no set definition of “mass shooting”. Different political or media entities use different definitions that push different narratives. The FBI definition is the one that I think is most accurate as it excludes gang violence and domestic violence and only includes incidents where one or more assailants is actively targeting random individuals. The sources that cite hundreds of mass shootings each year don’t make that exclusion so they include a lot of gang violence, drug related violence, domestic violence etc that people don’t typically associate with “mass shootings.”

This is truth. But men are significantly over-represented in mass shootings as they are in violent crimes in general.

If people want to throw out stereotypes in the wake of mass shootings, you're on much firmer footing being misandristic instead of being racist.

The shooter who removed Charlie Kirk’s throat from his torso isn’t transgender.

I said side issue. He’s a furry with a trans bf who he might have been trying to “protect” from the “hateful” speech of Charlie.

I’ll recall the way you are describing Charlie’s murder when I’m told to be more sensitive and respectful.

Lol, good then you can recall this, too: fuck Charlie Kirk.
