I'm sure glad all the liberal folks on X are so certain Ella Cook wasn't targeted for being an outspoken conservative on a very leftist campus. Let's wait and see as this case is very odd with unexpected twists and turns.

We might know much more if Brown hadn't caved to anti ICE and pro Palestinian groups this summer and turned off a number of cameras on its campus. Conservatives are going to need to avoid certain NE schools else risk their lives. The Ivies have lost control of their campuses. I'm trying to talk my nephew out of going to Columbia for his MBA and go to UVA instead.

Think about what you're saying. The gunman was a Portuguese guy who failed out of Brown a quarter century ago. Why in the world would he be targeting a white girl from Birmingham, AL at Brown University? How in the world would he even know who the heck Ella Cook is? Why would he care? What evidence is there that he was even political in the first place? Why did he shoot a bunch of other people, too? Why did he kill a kid from Uzbekistan? Was he targeting that kid, too? Is Uzbekistan some haven of American conservatism we aren't aware of?

You are a very, very sick man. I hope you get the help you need, or at least your family gets the help they need to keep you away.

None of what he did makes sense. Why would he single her out and shoot her repeatedly? Why would he shoot any of them because he flunked out of the school 25 years ago?

The professor is far more likely to have been specifically targeted.

How do you suppose the shooter knew Ella was planning to attend an Economics study group in the Physics building?

Probably the same way the shooter knew there would be an exam study group in the building at that time and knew Brown didn't have any security cameras in the building. Short answer, I don't know but there appears to be a lot we don't know about this shooter and this case.
 
I am absolutely, positively cackling that this dude legitimately believes that some middle-aged Portuguese dude who lives in Miami and who flunked out of Brown a quarter century ago somehow came across the Vice President of the Brown College Republicans from Birmingham, AL, and she somehow drew his ire so much so that he knew her course schedule so well that he was able to find her in an Economics exam study session in the Physics building, and decided to travel all the way to Rhode Island to kill her, and then when he accomplished that goal (along with having killed some random kid from Uzbekistan and wounded 9 others) decided to head on up to Boston and kill an old classmate who was teaching at MIT just for shits and giggles.

My God, how broken is Ramrouser's brain?

Where are you seeing that the shooter knew a study group was scheduled and knew there weren’t cameras?

As a Darden grad let me just say this: You apparently don't know the first fucking thing about UVA if you think it is some haven for right-wingnuttery. Additionally, my sister has a Columbia MBA, and I assure you that if you think that program is some leftist sanctuary, well then you are, as usual, utterly incorrect.
 
Ram is just using classic MAGA reasoning.

1. Based on no evidence at all and just vague hunches, declares belief in X.
2. The belief then becomes its own evidence.
3. Strong evidence emerges that clearly shows X not to be the case.
4. There's evidence on both sides, who knows the truth?

This is why MAGA is so conspiracy oriented. Steps #1 and #2 are classic conspiracy thinking structures.

almost certainly Ram is assuming UVA to be kinder to his ilk because of the way it caved and ran off Jim Ryan on the Trump admin's orders
 
As UNC grads we've all got to pray that nobody from the accrediting agency that evaluates UNC's accreditation ever comes across Ram's posts on here or else we are all FUBAR.

Certainly realize UVA isn't right wing... but at least it is in the South and you'll have some kindred souls. Like UNC.
