Great, we agree that gun laws will drop the gun deaths down.Enforcing existing gun laws will help drop that number down without any new legislation needed. However, the problem is here to stay. That’s the reality I’m referring to.
Great, we agree that gun laws will drop the gun deaths down.
From here on out, you can no longer use any variation of, “changing the law won’t work because criminals will still attempt to obtain guns,” as a reason to not outlaw guns, or greatly restrict what guns are illegal.
Have a great day.
We have a lot of folks in society that have deadly habits-drunk driving, shooting up drugs etc We can do more to address those issues-just like we can do more to control gun proliferationEnforcing existing gun laws will help drop that number down without any new legislation needed. However, the problem is here to stay. That’s the reality I’m referring to.
Sure, and the key is finding a balance between reducing gun deaths and protecting the constitutional rights of law-abiding citizens. A ban on semi-autos or an excessively restrictive limit on bullet capacity would not do the latter. Red flag laws are a good start but they have to actually have teeth and be acted on.We have a lot of folks in society that have deadly habits-drunk driving, shooting up drugs etc We can do more to address those issues-just like we can do more to control gun proliferation
We should also make it illegal to kill people.Guys, so glad we got rid of drugs by outlawing them 50 years ago. That was easy! No one has overdosed and died since the 80s.
You can't do anything about the 2nd Amendment (liberal fantasy) and the vast number of guns in America (there will never be a gun confiscation like Australia) so let's start addressing the root causes:The only people to be villainized are those who think it's a good idea to have unlimited guns in public places. Shame on every one of you.
This may shock you but I mostly agree with a good bit of what you wrote here- with the glaring exception of point number 4.You can't do anything about the 2nd Amendment (liberal fantasy) and the vast number of guns in America (there will never be a gun confiscation like Australia) so let's start addressing the root causes:
1. Mental illness - why don't families get these young people the help they need or at least alert the authorities to prevent them from buying guns? Minnesota has one of the strongest red flag statutes that could have kept this psycho from obtaining guns but no one took preemptive action. Why? This case is like many other shooter cases in that the shooter is clearly mentally ill and is open about it - posting on social media, etc. Yet, no one ever seems to do anything about it and the family and friends just sit on their hands. Time for this to stop. This guys been posting on youtube for some time with posts similar to the one on X that we've seen.
2. Isolation and loneliness with social media making it worse.
3. Violent first person shooter video games. Not the sole cause of these shooters but they don't help matters.
4. The trans movement and radical gender ideology that is radicalizing our youth, driving violence and targeting innocent victims (Christians). This is he 7th trans mass shooting in the very recent past. A pattern is emerging that y'all get mad at me, and label me trans phobic, for pointing it out yet it keeps happening. Minnesota officials routinely brag about how the state is a safe haven for the "trans community." I say stop coddling these trans leaders and get them under control so they'll stop preaching hate to mentally ill people. Even Andrew Sullivan has spoken out about them in the past and how they are harming the gay community (he says remove the "T" from the LGBQ community).
Do not take this the wrong way, but you are easily the last person on this board anyone should be talking to about mental and emotional well-being.bet big money shooter was on at least one of the many toxic 'mental' health drugs that our society is prescribed by so-called mental health experts. we are a pill popping freak society that has zero coping skills and zero perspective about what life really is. flight or fight lmmfao people believe that garbage bc someone bought a degree and its hangin on a wall.
Muskets only. Impossible to go on a murder spree with a musket.Hell, I’d ban semi-automatic weapons.
Revolvers and bolt action rifles, only. Pump action shotguns that can hold 4-5 shells maximum. You can still hunt, target shoot, and “protect” yourself.
This may shock you but I mostly agree with a good bit of what you wrote here- with the glaring exception of point number 4.
Claims that "several" recent mass shooters have been transgender are false and are widespread misinformation. The vast majority of mass shootings are carried out by straight men, and transgender individuals are far more likely to be victims of violence than perpetrators of such. A 2022 study of mass shootings found that 97.7% of perpetrators identified as male and a database maintained by The Violence Project found that less than 1% of mass shootings have been committed by a transgender individual. The two recent “known” instances of mass shootings being carried out by transgender individuals were the Nashville school shooting in 2023 and now Minneapolis in 2025. I think it’s very reckless to attribute our mass shooting cultural problem with “radical gender ideology” because all it does is serve as a (purposeful) distraction.
1 and 2 are largely correct. You can't do anything about the 2nd Amendment (liberal fantasy) and the vast number of guns in America (there will never be a gun confiscation like Australia) so let's start addressing the root causes:

Not impossible, but very difficult. It would certainly take more practice and planning.Muskets only. Impossible to go on a murder spree with a musket.

I'm not pointing this out to go out of my way to pick on these folks but we need to investigate whether they've on hormones or anti depressant drugs that's contributing to this. Plus, we can't keep tip toeing around this and their family, friends and colleagues need to step up and intervene before they buy a gun and shoot some kids.
Same thing for the young white men living in their mom's basement playing video games all day.
Why in the world would trans people have a problem with Christians who view them as "mentally ill people"???You can't do anything about the 2nd Amendment (liberal fantasy) and the vast number of guns in America (there will never be a gun confiscation like Australia) so let's start addressing the root causes:
