They want riots so bad they're practically begging for them. It will give them cover to just take over Democratic cities with a permanent military presence - in effect, martial law. And they'll keep them there through the 2026 elections. And their MAGA base will lap it up, as they're owning the libs big time.

They're going to do all of that no matter what. It's like an abusive partner, they are going to abuse if you comply or don't comply.

It was at 3 am. Who do you think in a residential area is at the ready to film the roof of a building to catch that?
 
I do think it would be awesome to see Pritzer out on the streets of Chicago, at the protests, showing the country that (1) there is nothing for ordinary people to be afraid of, and (2) he is willing to confront this stuff in person. Plus his presence could be a calming influence for the protestors.
 
The executive branch, including cabinet members, are clearly lying about how awful and "war torn" cities are that are controlled by the opposition party and are sending in troops to quell made up insurrections. This is happening right now in America.

And the Republicans are perfectly fine with it. Heck, more than fine. They celebrate it.

Agreed. Pritzker should give a rally/speech in front of the ICE building in Chicago. The Dem nomination almost certainly comes down to Pritzker and Newsome and the winner will be whoever fights hardest against Trump/fascism.
