That's her personal life and none of our business. And it doesn't change anything.

It's pretty normal to change jobs during one's life. It's pretty normal for people to actually evaluate their lives and make informed decisions. So it isn't relevant and it has no bearing on the discussion.

Also, your girl Riley wasn't going to college to be a rage baiting podcast host, was she? Not that it matters, but you seem to want to keep talking about it, so maybe ask your question about the person you seem to be supporting. She didn't go to college for what she is currently doing, she changed when she realized there was a cult that would support her financially if she just owned the libs.

Some people choose to look down on other's career choices. It's a horrible choice that only hurts the country.

It's where you get bullshit like minimum wage is ok at $7.25 an hour because adults shouldn't be in those jobs anyway...

Wait, are we seriously comparing AOC and Riley Gaines??? I certainly don't agree with AOC on everything, but she's exponentially more significant and impactful than Riley Gaines. This feels like an even more absurd and overblown version of the Charlie Kirk canonization. We were assured by MAGAs like Ram that Charlie's death would resonate for years. We're less than two months later and nobody gives a shit. And Charlie was 100x more important than Riley.

Do you have the view as motherhood being a laudable job in all circumstances? For example, if a person of color has several children as her job, is that noble? If not, why?

For me, having a kid is never a job. It just isn't. It's a personal choice.

AOC's father died from cancer when she was a sophomore in college. According to wikipedia- "After college, Ocasio-Cortez moved back to the Bronx and took a job as a bartender and waitress to help her mother—a house cleaner and school bus driver—fight foreclosure of their home.".

I've never said that AOC had a "low IQ" - Crockett I'm not so certain however I think most of her actions are an act. I've also said that AOC is intelligent and a talented communicator. I just think she stepped in it by attacking Riley personally in response to Riley making a political comment on X. Why couldn't AOC have simply responded that she thinks socialism will be great for NYC the way she, Bernie and Mamdani envision it. Instead, she (as a non athlete) mocks Riley finishing 5th nationally in an NCAA swim meet, telling her to "try harder." Then AOC attacks Riley's "job" when her employment history prior to Congress was not typical of someone with multiple degrees from Boston University.

Riley has challenged AOC to a debate let's see if she accepts the challenge.

Check out the Turning Point USA event at Oxford MS tonight and the crowds of young people it will draw. Jesse is even hosting his show from there tonight.

Just because you and your media choose to ignore Charlie's legacy, it doesn't mean that 50% of the country feels the same.
