I know how old this makes me sound, but I miss reading a good, competently made newspaper. There was just something about getting the paper every day and going through the different sections (news, sports, opinon/editorial, local news, comics, etc.) that was a good way to start your day while you ate breakfast. Those days are long gone, though, as newspapers are basically dinosaurs at this point. Most of them are just shadows of their former selves, and I doubt that most of them will survive for much longer, although the NY Times and a few other larger ones might survive in some form.

While often overlooked Local News is one of the toughest losses . In her last years Mom felt completely disconnected from her community as there was no local paper-or none that covered anything anyway. From City Council, to Obits-no news

Orban may be gone, but this is exactly the type of thing his government did to try and drive LGBTQ people back into the closet in Hungary. Pretty much just ban them from even being seen on Hungarian television, movies, etc. Because, as we all know, if you don't see gay or lesbian or transgender people on TV or the internet or in movies then they don't exist. Attacking and suppressing the LGBTQ community in Hungary was a major part of Orban's political party platform, and many Republicans have been copying what he did there and trying to bring it here.

Never figured Dana Bash for a bosider, but it's also going to be David Ellison Presents: CNN very soon. I thought Raskin's response was good. Although I'm not buying his "I don't have anything against Trump personally" line, it's not central to the bosides rhetoric point Bash was trying to push.

Maybe AI is a better option? SHEESH

Correction, April 22nd: Crenshaw lost his right eye, not his legs, as this story initially misstated in one instance. An earlier version of this article also misstated the home state of Rep. Don Bacon. It is Nebraska, not Iowa.
Correction, April 30th: An earlier version of this article stated that Crenshaw was 36 years old at the time the 2019 Time 100 Next list was published. He was 35. It also stated that he described Jesse Watters as “the type of dude who sits peeing down.” The correct quote was “pees sitting down.” It also stated that Harriet Hageman beat Liz Cheney by 30 points in the 2022 Wyoming primary. At the time Cheney conceded the race, Hageman’s lead was more than 30 points.

Somebody in the comments had the best observation - everybody at CNN right now is auditioning for the Ellisons and trying to save their job. It won't work, as the network will likely be gutted just like CBS News.
