You honestly can't differentiate between me (and many others, here along with folks paid to analyze college basketball) pointing out issues that we see and someone talking shit about HD as a person? Critiquing his coaching abilities is denigrating him as a person??? I mean, what the fuck are we doing here? Do you think being good at your job is a condition on being intelligent? I don't think you do. I don't think you're a stupid person, and that is why I think you're flailing around. Just own up to it. You made up some bullshit.Your constant denigration of Hubert Davis is an affront to him.
Do you not think what you’ve put in writing over and over again is offensive?
You are essentially saying that you, someone with no experience or expertise, is more in tuned and better able to decide what the team needs than the guy who does it as his living and is with the team everyday.
This is an insult to his intelligence. Think about it.
Your constant, unrelenting tact along with your foolish arrogance takes your criticism beyond the normal Monday morning quarterbacking. You honestly can't differentiate between me (and many others, here along with folks paid to analyze college basketball) pointing out issues that we see and someone talking shit about HD as a person? I really don't think you can't tell the difference between critiquing someone's work and denigrating them as a person...but you really are causing me to question that.Your constant, unrelenting tact along with your foolish arrogance takes your criticism beyond the normal Monday morning quarterbacking.
It’s clear you don’t recognize this about yourself but it’s there.
Read your own posts.I really don't think you can't tell the difference between critiquing someone's work and denigrating them as a person...but you really are causing me to question that.
(And, we've all seen, to you, anything remotely negative about the coaching staff is seen as unrelenting tact. You went on and on after snoop, to the point he simply had to stop entertaining your nonsense.)
Ok, I will, if you will stop with your ridiculous overreactions against anything that even remotely negative towards the coaching staff - stop making up bullshit and stop running posters off with your shit. Deal?Read your own posts.
If you stop criticizing the staff after every game, particularly 20 point wins, I won’t have any reason to respond to it.Ok, I will, if you will stop with your ridiculous overreactions against anything that even remotely negative towards the coaching staff - stop making up bullshit and stop running posters off with your shit. Okay, I’m done. Why don't the two of you get a thread?
I see, you just can't stop. You cannot handle any kind of negative critiquing. Good think HD can, it looks like he's actually learning from the critiquing that he gets from himself, his staff, and the analysts. If you stop criticizing the staff after every game, particularly 20 point wins, I won’t have any reason to respond to it.
Heels are safely in if they beat Va Tech, win 1st ACCT game and win one of Duke/Clemson/Louisville. Only a 33% they do all that, but it is not that big of an ask.Heels took care of business. Glad to see Withers contributing more since he has been starting lately. I think they finally found the lineup and rotation that gives them the best chance to win. I have also noticed more movement without the ball in the halfcourt offense. Unfortunately, this may be too little too late to make the NCAA tournament, unless they can win the ACC tournament. I don't even think it's the lack of quad 1 wins that will keep them out. I think it's losing games they shouldn't have lost to Louisville, Wake, Stanford and Pitt in January. If they had only lost to Duke and Clemson they probably would get in.
It's going to depend on what those others around UNC do too. I don't think it can be treated in vacuum.Heels are safely in if they beat Va Tech, win 1st ACCT game and win one of Duke/Clemson/Louisville. Only a 33% they do all that, but it is not that big of an ask.
If they only had 2 conference loses they would 100% be in.Heels took care of business. Glad to see Withers contributing more since he has been starting lately. That would get us into the 30s in all metrics. Coupled with our brand, that would be bordering on lock territory — even if there are a bunch of bid stealers in conference tournamentsIt's going to depend on what those others around UNC do too. I don't think it can be treated in vacuum.

I think the confidence he feels from HD/staff helps a lot too. Plus, he's always played best when he starts - back to the confidence thing. The biggest improvement in the last few games seems to have come from Withers. He has always had the talent. It's his basketball IQ and effort that has been lacking for years.
Maybe the second semester of his 5th year he has started to figure it out. I remember when Brian Zoubek for Duke, who was a still for 3.5 years, suddenly came alive in Feb/March of his senior season and Duke won the championship. Unfortunately we're not there.
