Tillis gonna lose anyway. That seat is going to flip.
That’d be nice, but I’m never highly confident when it comes to statewide races for federal office in NC. In my lifetime of nearly half-a-century, it had happened only five times (with two of those times happening in the same election year): Jimmy Carter in 1976, Terry Sanford in 1986, John Edwards in 1998, and Barack Obama and Kaye Hagan in 2008.

i mean, i guess.

she'd probably lose in the general election, again.

but it isn't good that people like her are more and more normalized in our society.

she's an ignorant lunatic who shouldn't be anywhere near any level of government.
Yeah. I agree. Can't believe Mark Robinson got the nomination based on a speech about gun rights in Greensboro but I guess the really crazy stuff didn't come out till after the primary.

Yes she's a nut, but how much time and effort does the average person put into researching the primary opponents for the superintendent of the North Carolina department of education? I'm guessing it's right up there with the soil and water conservation candidate. In other words, I don't think it's that normalized.

But those nuts tend to get run over in the general when they get a little more attention on them.

Well, the prediction is based on the economy being bad. That makes the 2008 election analogous.

But she got beat without that much attention in that race even as an R.
In a state Trump slightly carried
