This is another instance where the lack of a union hurts. In a state with a teachers union they would be all over this, making sure the teachers were aware of the potential problems and organizing/motivating them to action. I think many teachers who have moved here from union states don’t know where to look for leadership on these issues……because there is none. Teachers aren’t organized.

My wife still gets emails from the teachers unions in Los Angeles and Cleveland with all sorts of information on political developments affecting them and how they can get involved. No such leadership exists in NC.
Amen
Sorry for this State where workers think Unions are "bad" I was part the State HR Office for well over 30 years. The one thing that could have really changed Govt stability would have been Unions

Extremely well. Also, anyone even asking that question is missing the point that Morrow is maybe the worst candidate ever to run for office in NC.
I'm glad he did well. But no, I'm not missing that point whatsoever. I know FULL well how horrible a candidate she is. I just didn't see the debate itself and wanted to make sure that Green took good advantage of being the sane, normal candidate and highlighting her ridiculous philosophy and proposals.

We actually went. Morrow didn't specifically answer questions, just talked in general. She stressed discipline, an audit and sounded like she was on the stump campaigning.

Green answered the questions and stressed more funding. His motto was to improve the performance of the system.

I know that this campaign doesn't get highly funded, but how did we not get even one single ad that nailed Morrow for her violent and insane comments and actions?

Is there anyone in North Carolina who has done more to boost the chances of Democrats running in a state-wide race than Mark Robinson? It was a stroke of genius by the Illuminati to rig the primary in his favor.

ETA: Of course, immediately after posting the above, I get an email from Jeff Jackson stating that now that Mark Robinson's campaign has self-destructed, all the outside funding that was going to Robinson, is now being funneled into Dan Bishop's campaign for Attorney General. DARN! Not only is Mark Robinson incompetent, but he is incompetent at being incompetent.
