Minnesota assasination thread

Is he married? I could have sworn I read that some others, including his wife, had been pulled over with passports and clothing??

But then reading the comments from a roommate seems to contradict the wife component.

Just speculating but it wouldn't be the first time that an abused wife, whether physically or otherwise, stepped up for a man she was separated from. Don't get it but some women feel like it's their fault. He might even be the type those types are attracted to. It takes all kinds.

Five kids and a wife…….and he was renting a house with two other men apart from his family……one of who whom says that he and the alleged killer are lifelong friends and both are Trumplicans……the alleged killer sends both his housemates texts saying, “I LOVE YOU, MAN!”……and absolving both housemates of any complicity……..

He’s a right-wing “Christo-Nationalist”………no substantial discernible income……might have recently had what sounds like a menial job at a mortuary back in February…….somehow has access to at least two vehicles……one decked out to look like a law enforcement vehicle…..

Vance Boelter is quite the character.

One sounds about right. 👍

Just take the L. And if you have any integrity, apologize for your disgusting and baseless initial comment.
By no means am I generalizing about all Dems (politicians or otherwise) but, in the initial aftermath of the assassination attempt, these were some of the public statements of politicians...the people who are very contentious of what they say in public.

In Aberdeen, Wash., Mayor Douglas Orr said on social media that he thought “this [was] about the only thing that could happen that would artificially gain Trump sympathy votes.”

“The shooter is dead so we will never know if this was staged,” Mayor Orr said. “I hope I’m wrong, but because of his record of deceit, that’s the first thing that came to mind.”
.............

Ken Gucker, a former Connecticut state representative and current candidate for office, deleted a meme posted on his account from a 1960s sitcom that he posted soon after Trump’s assassination attempt.

“Missed him by that much,” Gucker’s posted meme said.

................

Swift action was taken on Capitol Hill when Rep. Bennie Thompson, D-Miss., reportedly fired staffer Jacqueline Marsaw for her comments over the weekend.

"Don’t miss next time,” Marsaw said on social media.

................

The last thing America needed was sympathy for the devil but here we are,” Rep. Woodrow wrote in an X post now deleted.

A former STATE rep from Connecticut and a staffer? Come on, dude. You are grasping at straws here. Meanwhile a GOP senator is openly celebrating the murder of a Democratic politician by a right-wing nutjob.

None of that is remotely in the same category as "clapping" with the possible exception of the staffer who was immediately fired, as she should have been. You made a disgusting and unfounded comment. I say it again -- if you have any integrity, you will own it and apologize.

I haven't seen any celebrations. If that's true, it's disgusting.

I'm just saying that there probably weren't many Dems, beyond those who are somewhat obligated to (Biden), that were itching to call Trump after the assassination attempt. I bet there were far more who wished the attempt was successful than we would like to admit.

Reportedly, He is married and he and his wife live in a more rural area outside the city. Reports have said that the shooter also rents a room in the city with the roommate as the shooter has been trying to get re-established in the job market and sometimes needs to stay overnight in town.

That’s the way it always is when Republicans do or say something reprehensible. Their tribe excuses it by something along the lines of, “if the shoe were on the foot I feel strongly that democrats would act the same way so no need to apologize.”

This is a sitting United States senator:

But for gut feelings, I can’t imagine what Zen would post here.

So he’s a closeted homosexual.
