I probably won't watch the game tonight. Maybe check the score and watch the end if it's close.

Is it too soon to ask for an update on these rankings?
For me this is still below 99 and 04. 04 felt absolute stolen. 99 was the best team I ever watched.
This team was fun. They choked in the final minute of a game they owned. But they easily could have lost tonight if we hadn't blown it. Much why 22 doesn't stick with me

86 was bad but I was 7 and not really taking it to heart

I'm somewhat surprised by the national media pile-on, TBH:

It was historic for how fast it happened. It was Maryland 01 regular season but in the final 4. I think Texas A&M had a comeback in the final minute but it was early rounds a few years ago

Some other collapses have been more significant... Maryland in 01. You guys in 22. But ours wasn't a good team coming back.. It was a team going full moron completely on their own to choke in the last 90 seconds.

That's why I slept 2 hours. It was watching a freaking slasher movie that made no sense. We were CLEARLY the better team... And just shit the bed. And it was our veterans who did it... Proctor WANTING to shoot free throws?? Lol dude please you suck at them and we all know it. And then the bouncing the ball off your foot, bad inbounding.... Just like we threw it.

It was really the last 10 minutes of game time (there was opportunity to put Houston down 20+ eliminating runway for the comeback), but yeah, the las 90 seconds were brutal. Reminded me somewhat of UNC v Baylor in ‘22 in the second round, except we had a huge enough lead to barely escape. But that game revealed flaws in Hube’s game planning that continue to vex his teams.

Anyway, Proctor in the Elite 8 last year and the FF this year was not a profile in grace under pressure. Wasn’t he shooting over 60% for three in the first four rounds of this tournament? I know this kind of sports pain. It leaves a mark.

I had never seen Cooper Flagg's twin brother until today. Dude is a senior in high school and looks like he's in his 30s.

2016. A&M was down 12 with 45 seconds left. It was surreal, almost as if it was a video game and A&M turned the difficulty down to rookie. You kinda gotta YouTube it to believe it.

Maybe the most anticlimactic ending to a 2 point difference in a championship game.

Anticlimactic is right. Even the announcers didn’t have a chance to make a signature call at the end.

And I don’t know the Florida coach from Adam, but I already hate him. He’s kinda d00kish.
