That was a sight to behold. The wr was open by two yards and Allen could have set his feet and lobbed it in.
Magic ran out for Allen and the Bills. Play call was great but I still think w all the momentum they had they should have taken the game to overtime being at home.

“… This season, no quarterback has been as precociously stellar—brilliant, really—as Maye, a 23-year-old North Carolinian with a golden arm and a nickname that no one quite understands.

“Drake Maye,” they call him. As in Drake “Drake Maye” Maye. As in Drake Maye’s so good, he doesn’t need a nickname. But also as in, you don’t really need to get it—not getting it is sort of the idea. It’s like “6,7,” if it wore a helmet and was more cute than irritating.…”

Guilty.
For weeks I’ve been weighing the likelihood of just missing the playoffs or just barely making the playoffs with Rodgers at the helm and still haven’t determined which is worse.
I really don’t like that guy.
I lived in Wisconsin for 8 years-so am a Packer fan
I just can't like Rodgers... sad

The Raiders are having a great season that has put us in the driver's seat for the #1 pick.

I'm hopeful that we won't screw it up next week by beating the Chiefs in some inexplicable way.

Why would it be inexplicable? The Chiefs are quite horrendous at the moment and are likely to start a third stringer at multiple spots. Geno tanking the Raiders chance to draft a qb would be exactly how I expect Geno to walk-off.

Geno left the Giants game with an ankle injury and is currently believed to be unlikely to play against KC.

Players and coaches often have different incentives than the front office, but it would be a spectacularly Raiders way to do things to win a meaningless end of season game to cost us the overall first pick.

The Rams are arguably the best team in football (they have the second best point differential, only to Seattle) but are sitting in third place in the division. If they win out, as seems likely, they will move up to second unless Seattle and SF tie, but they can't finish first.

The NFC West was a joke about a decade ago, but it's probably been the best division in football for the last few years at least, and by a fair margin too.

This year, NFC West teams have the three best point differentials in the NFC, and the top two in the NFL.

Rams have the toughest SOS in the league not counting bottom feeders (who always have strong schedules because they don't get to play themselves), and the only strength of victory above .500. And they were the only team to beat the Colts in the first half of the season, before the wheels came off the latter.

As a Texan fan, we experienced this different incentive in the final game of the 2022 season when lame duck Head Coach Lovie Smith instructed the offense to go for two after a late TD [that was probably orchestrated by Lovie as well]. The conversion is good so the Texans end up with the second pick in the draft behind the Bears. Everyone here was furious because we thought [correctly] that it cost us our shot at drafting Bryce Young. Instead we were stuck [luckily as it turns out] drafting CJ Stroud. And here we are three straight years of making the playoffs after several abysmal seasons.

Stafford is currently-250 to win MVP (Maye is +175 to +200). However Stafford has 2 INTs and the Rams are losing to ATL on MNF. The MVP odds might be tightening up.
Yeah, bad time for me to talk up the Rams. Laying an egg tonight. I guess it's not over yet, but damn. The worst thing is that LA has ATL's first round pick next year. So they are screwing themselves in the draft by losing the game. Doesn't usually work that way.
