I didn't see a thread about the new Kings rally for March / yesterday, so figured I would repurpose this thread for that. NYC or Rock, maybe we can change the thread title just to "No Kings Protests" or something more general(?).

Anyway, here are some of the funnier signs I've seen in threads around the internets:

Just got a call from a friend who lives in Hendersonville, NC. She tells me that 5000 turned out. Hendersonville has a population of around 16,000 and is no bastion of liberalism.

Haven't seen the nationwide turnout but I'm guessing 9 or 10 million ?

Hendersonville, like Asheville, is not indicative of the county. Hendersonville may have 15k population, but Henderson County as 121k. The county has long been Red:

'12 62% Romney
'16 61% Trump
'20 59% Trump
'24 56% Trump

My wife and I and neighbors attended our local No Kings march yesterday. The crowd was quite large (2-3000) and I would estimate more than the previous two NK marches we attended at the same place. We were just 1 of many such matches in Metro Atlanta, many larger (eg downtown ATL). The bigger story in Georgia were the many marches and turn out from all across the state outside of ATL. The local news reported on Marches that occurred in dozens of places across deep-red rural Georgia.
