Wilmington turned out! Not only that but two thirds of the cars that passed were waiving and honking and smiling. Only a tiny minority of folks looking like they were sucking on a lemon. I can count on one had the number of birds flipped. Perfect weather. We were so lucky l. Could have been storms nationwide.
We were in Wilmington for the last one and got DRENCHED

Admit it, nyc, doesn't a little part of you wish that this guy was shamed/doxxed to the extreme because of this picture?
I have his license plate but would never share unless he acted out violently. He was holding his horn and driving about 3 mph slowing traffic.

Even god showed up.

This is all really impressive, but how many people in the streets today didn’t bother to vote in 2024?
Recall, there were at least 5 million people who did NOT vote at all in 2024 as opposed to how many voted in 2020.

Like I say, the turn out today is great and all… but it’s a day late and a dollar short. It’s too late people. Y’all should have been this motivated to show up last November. The horse has left the barn.

How many out today just couldn’t bother to hold their nose and vote Hillary in 2016? How many Sat it out last time because they didn’t like Harris, or didn’t like the way the DNC handled Biden at the bitter end?

Rally all you want now folks. Have some fun. But it’s too late.

To be fair, I’m sure that every single person who showed up for these protests today and who was of voting age in 2024 voted in 2024. It’s not these people who were the problem.

Well
Lets hope it spurs some 2026 victories-by Independents, a few pissed off republicans etc. That is the "Hope"

That’s my guess too. To answer my own question - I seriously doubt there were any folks out today who did NOT vote in Nov.

But my real point still stands.
It’s too late. Can’t put that toothpaste back in the tube. We’re cooked and the protests won’t change a thing.

We will have to break all kinds of records for voter turnout for a midterm election. Over 80 million voted for Biden in 2020.
We need 80 million to vote in the midterms (which is totally far fetched I know) but that’s what it’s going to take. Other than that, you may as well just stay home and watch college football.
