With all due respect, that’s utter defeatist bullshit. 2milliin more people protested today than in July. That’s a 40% jump (7 million today, 5 million in July). We are growing a movement. If you didn’t protest today, then you missed it. But don’t worry the next one will be even bigger. This is how we win, and you’re invited!

I’m in. I showed up with my guitar and led the crowd in Woody Guthrie’s This Land is Your Land and Dylan’s The Time’s They are a Changing. It felt good. But after the piss poor showing in Nov. last year - AFTER ROE V FUCKING WADE WAS OVERTURNED AND TRUMP AND HIS SYCOPHANTS STILL WON BY 2 MILLION FUCKING VOTES - excuse me if my pessimism is on my fucking sleeve.

But seriously, Trump won the low turnout voters in 2024. He cleaned house with voters who had only voted once in the last four elections. The high turnout voters that used to produce GOP victories in off-year elections are now Dem voters.
