I’m not a populist, but it’s obvious even to me that the separation of wealth and labor/physical resources has been the greatest existential threat to the 99% than anything since the end of pre-enlightenment feudalism. The tech billionaires are brilliant and work hard, but the wealth they have been able to amass is grossly disproportionate to their social value. And they have mastered the art of using that wealth to expand and consolidate their power.
