I know people are stressed/anxious/have 2016 PTSD/etc., and those are all totally valid emotions, but I cannot believe people are acting shocked that the exact very thing that we knew would happen- the exact very thing that happened 4 years ago tonight- is happening. Quit letting the red mirage get to you.
 
Trump out performing Mark Robinson (expected) and Michelle Morrow (maybe not as expected) in NC. Not sure I've seen many spots in which she is outperforming Biden, almost all I've seen she is 1-3% below him. Not a good sign IMO given how incredibly tight it was in 2020.

100% this. I’m younger than the vast majority of everyone here. This is not y’all’s first election. If Harris’ chances were bad, I think MSNBC would be freaking out rn.

It's less that it is happening, and more that that there is no cure for it. Half of this country is going to embrace awful no matter what.

You should know that many states changed how/when mail in ballots were counted and the number of early voters per party changed. I don't think we can count on a late Dem wave like we saw in 2020.
