Exactly. 2016 was about a serious change to the status quo. “Putting a virus into the software” or however Cuomo put it. Bernie was the Democrat’s answer for that, but they chose to not take Trump seriously.

4) Your weak attempt to shore up the border just before the election was, well, weak and totally transparent. It fooled nobody and contrary to many on here most Americans are in favor of borders and legal immigration. Your plan for all the illegal immigrants to become future dem voters lacked any semblance of subtlety. It was likely the 2nd most important issue in the election (behind the economy) and your side likely still doesn't get it.
5) She is as weak, or weaker as brandon on foreign policy. Russia invades Ukraine, Israel attacked, and if she had won I sincerely believe China would have invaded Taiwan before her term would have ended. Whether you believe it or not, most feel she is to incompetent to navigate the current world situation.
6) She didn't get a pass for lying about the mental condition of brandon. In fairness though I don't know what she should have said. A no win situation. However, you and your party deserve to lose the election for lying about his condition, turning a blind eye to it, or just outright knowing it and lying about it.
(7) You were misled like sheep by your manipulative and corrupt media sources. The best thing you guys could do for yourselves and so that you have a freaking clue is to get away from MSNBC, CNN, CBS, ABC, NBC, NYT, WaPo, and all the other fawning trash rags that are just pure DNC propaganda machines. You guys seriously thought you were winning due to bullshit polls reported in your media every damn day. How many times do you have to be lied to before you say enough?
(7) Over half the country, including the fence sitters are tired of the denigration, name calling, and insults you guys like to hurl at those who disagree with your political views. You guys are very much like trump in that regard. CF made a comment something to the effect of he just can't believe half the people in the country are trash, deplorables, worthless (not his words but you get the gist) and that he was sorry for his kids that they had to live in a country with those people. People, including undecideds are tired of it and it completely turns voters off to your message. It got trump elected the first time and it played a part this time. I'm actually sorry for his kids that they have a father who will teach them that message.

As you completely disregard and deny my explanation for why you lost, just ask yourself, "how in the hell did we lose an election to a 78 year old convicted felon, sexual predator, compulsive narcacissist and liar? Here’s the shittiest thing: most of the worst effects of Trump’s insane policies don’t be felt immediately. It’ll be delayed.

So he’ll get a couple years—at least—of a good economy baked in.

Allowing Elon to go around for weeks saying “this will be the last election if Trump loses, they’ll ban Twitter and free speech. They’ll put illegal migrants in every swing state and let them vote”.

She should have addressed this bullshit head-on by having an in-depth conversation with Rogan about it. You guys laughed when I said the rallies weren’t as important as this 3-hour conversation. It would’ve made a difference, but instead the Harris campaign went with prevent defense.

And you are kidding yourself if you don't think that's what it boils down to. Even after all that why would someone still vote for Trump over Harris? How is Trump still the better choice? How can you still vote for a liar, cheat, convicted felon that tried to overthrow the election? How is that still better than Harris? If you still vote for Trump then you are an idiot. Sorry, but there is not other way to explain why someone would still vote for Trump after everything he has said and done. Yes, I’m sure. Hispanic voters switched to Trump based on economic concerns. Otherwise they would’ve voted for him in 2016 and 2020 if it was the MAGA policy set that swung them.
 
I really don’t think Harris lost this election. Trump won it. Harris made no major errors. No big mistakes on her part.

At the end of the day the average American decided their life was better from 2016-2020 than it was from 2020-2024.

Lots of time left to debrief exactly what happened. Lots of reshuffling of demographics. Republicans truly building a working class coalition of all races.
