Evidently this boxer has XY chromosomes but was born with all of the equipment of a woman, and hits like a freight train

I’m confused why the Italian woman quit because the punches hurt? Isn’t that the point of boxing? Did she even get knocked down?
Amateur boxing is more about making contact vs making contact hard. It can still hurt but its nothing compared to pro boxing. You don't follow through with all your weight nearly as much because there is little reward for rocking someone vs the risk of being off balance. In pro boxing, landing a big shot can really help your chances of winning the fight.

But the Italian lady that quit is an Olympic level boxer. She has been hit before. This Italian lady wasn't used to the power of this Algerian lady likely because less of the weight limit of the (edit) Algerian lady is used for fat and more is used for muscle mass.

JD quoting Charlie Kirk lol

And the Algerian boxer is not trans. She was not born male. She has a condition where she has more testosterone than most other women, but the people saying she is a “grown man” are FOS

The WOMAN who won the match is (1) a woman and not a girl; (2) She IS NOT trans.

gt bringing … gt level analysis.

Thinking/claiming ALGERIA - fucking ALGERIA! - sent a trans person to the Olympics is high level bad faith.
What are you talking about? I'm fine if she's a woman or trans or whatever. I was just pointing out why the other lady may have stopped.

This is a good article that talks about some of the issues of people that go through puberty as a man and compete against women and how sports governing bodies are struggling to keep it fair.

Basically, sports governing bodies are trying to figure it out. The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has a standard where they should be allowed to compete as long as there is not a safety or fairness issue... whatever that means. The IOC mostly leaves it up to the individual sports governing bodies.

For boxing, the IOC is making the decision because the old governing body for boxing was very corrupt. But the old sports governing body did ban two of these women while the IOC is letting them fight.

These women were designated as female at birth. Since gender designation at birth seems to be the infallible holy grail for transphobe extremists who are so concerned about where people pee, I don’t understand what their bitch is with these boxers.
