Obviously a ton of these people are monsters, but something about Voight and Miller specifically make my stomach turn at a base level. Even if I didn’t know their politics, my natural reaction would be one of revulsion. Voight’s smug face is particularly enraging. If there’s a hell, they will both spend eternity there.I'm not sure how else to say this, because my general philosophy is to assume that all human beings have intrinsic worth in some form or fashion, but perhaps the country and world would be a better place if Russ Voight and Stephen Miller were to suddenly quit consuming diatomic oxygen molecules post haste?
I’m in the “Let him cook” camp as well. Michael Steele put it nicely this weekend, though he was speaking about bipartisan efforts in Congress.WHYYYY are Dems so determined to rescue Trump from the consequences of his idiocy? Why don't we see what happens when Red America burns to the ground for lack of federal funding??? I mean, I appreciate that I'm in the party that actually cares about ALL Americans, but at some point, you just have to let them FO for their FAs.
I'd say do it anyway. Trump has already proven that the legislative branch doesn't matter. Might as well take that lesson home to NC.I am not sure Jeff Jackson can join such a suit without NCGA consent after they stole a lot of authority from the AG’s office at the end of the last term …
Trump believes he can bulldoze the hill.I have my doubts that even Trump wants to die on this hill. Yes, he will refuse to follow a court order he doesn't like at some point, but it works better when the position is popular. Telling the courts to fuck off when you are doing the least popular thing imaginable is dumb.

Civil War, is too messy and who would want to keep us together after a few more weeks of Trump. Since Trump is already calling for himself to run again in four years, then just let the red states and Trump go form their own country. It would be wonderful to see how they deal with their leader on their own.I guess we'll just get rid of the other branches of government and have a oligarchy now. Or maybe just have a civil war.
These two are the modern Eichmann and Goebbels, with the same bent towards atrocities.Obviously a ton of these people are monsters, but something about Voight and Miller specifically make my stomach turn at a base level. A lot of rural communities are about to find out they aren't nearly a self sufficient as they think they are.Do they know that states rely on federal funds for education, including paying teachers, and without these funds states won't be able to pay teachers?
It's not just rural communities, though. All of the counties in NC rely on federal funds as part of the salary for teachers. I guess they are ok with not having teachers.A lot of rural communities are about to find out they aren't nearly a self sufficient as they think they are.
"Special Ed" is Hugely Federal fundingIt's not just rural communities, though. All of the counties in NC rely on federal funds as part of the salary for teachers. I guess they are ok with not having teachers.
Maybe private service providers will follow their lead and stop having densely populated area subsidize rural service.A lot of rural communities are about to find out they aren't nearly a self sufficient as they think they are.
MAGA and Pubs don't care about those kids. They're different."Special Ed" is Hugely Federal funding
And they both went to d00k? Or was that just Miller?Obviously a ton of these people are monsters, but something about Voight and Miller specifically make my stomach turn at a base level. It was a typo, but I'm claiming it as a positive outcome on my final report.I hope that wasn't a typo, but upvote regardless...
You are exactly correct. What’s funny is that these MAGA morons don’t realize how federal spending affects their lives. If this action by Trump is allowed to stand, they’re going to find out real quickly how much they depend on federal money.100% agree. It's another example of Trump blatantly violating the law and daring anyone to do something about it, which is exceptionally dangerous to the republic. And, at the same time, red states are about to get absolutely fucked if this spigot remains closed. So, while I'll never support a president intentionally violating the law, I have no qualms whatsoever about morons like Emmer and Hern having to answer to their constituents for the immense pain they're about the endure.
Just Miller I think. Looks like Vought when to GWU and Wheaton. And they both went to d00k? Or was that just Miller?
