Photos you’ve taken

We recently lost several old-growth trees in our neighborhood from hurricanes and other factors. Our neighbor decided to make use of a tree stump in her yard. Hiring a Native American to carve a “Tree of Life” with a chainsaw. Cool stuff.

Moon Pies, first made in Chattanooga in 1917. Lance Crackers, first made in Charlotte in 1913. Two quintessential American delights that not only were born in the South, but are still made here. This photo needs some ham biscuits from Charlottesville to complete the "Cha" trifecta.

Pretty damn good country ham comes out of Chatham County, North Carolina for my money. My momma used to always send me back to Chapel Hill with a big basket of Ham Biscuits when I came home on a weekend. That and laundry drew me back fairly often.

BTW...I always provide a Moon Pie and Nabs tray for Departmental Functions.
