People need to understand that some of the things that once made America great is slowly killing it in todays day and age. Its only going to get worse b/c neither party has the guts to do anything about. Piss away boys and girls

I wasn't insinuating anything. I was just making an observation that it was convenient that he had the ISIS flag. It sounds to me like he was mentally ill, decided to put up the flag and commit a disgusting attack. I never said anything about a government conspiracy.
 
Props and admiration to the uniform cops who ran towards the attacker; received live fire from the shooter; and took out the terrorist. But….

Total failure on the part of the NOLA police by allowing a vehicle to enter one of the most famous thoroughfares on New Year’s Eve. Inexcusable, especially in light of the ramming incident in Germany only weeks earlier. Police Chief should resign today.

It’s also becoming painfully evident that new leadership is needed at the FBI and CIA.

Why would you label him as mentally ill when his self-declared associations and corresponding actions are clearly in line with those of Muslim terrorists?
 
The area was getting renovations in prep for the super bowl next month, why the areas was not blocked off as good has it should be.

Because those terrorists are also mentally ill and do not represent the religion they claim to follow. The way it works is that the leaders of those groups feed on the mentally ill or traumatized people and lead them to believe that their way is the only way. Not many mentally healthy people commit atrocious acts like that.

Why? The only issue I've seen is the early press conference when the FBI spokesperson said "This is not a terrorist event". It was sloppy, misleading wording.

What do you mean by this? Are you saying there's no religious/doctrinal connection between terrorists and their actions which are generally eerily similar?

I am saying they have a twisted view on the religion and use it for political motivations. Many of them aren't even religious themselves. They put on a show. Just compare to the leaders of these groups to the people that commit the acts. Most of them that commit the acts are uneducated men with a history of trauma. You don't find many successful men in those groups. They are brainwashed to believe that it is part of their religion, so it gives them a belief that they are in the right and makes it easier to do what they do. However, those people do not represent true Islam and what it stands for. With ISIS, for instance, a large amount of their attacks are on other Muslims.

It's certainly less than ideal but it's overblown. He could have simply careened down the sidewalk of Canal Street instead. You can't harden every soft target in a city.
