The poster I was responding to suggested using birth certificates to confirm the gender of female athletes. It’s not clear yet how the bill will actually be enforced by the federal government (I.e. how they will determine that a youth sports organization is allowing trans males to compete in women’s sports).

Agreed. Which is why it’s super weird Democrats are willing to die on this hill. The fact Kamala Harris was boxed in and couldn’t publicly condemn taxpayer funded sex changes for prisoners says a lot about some of the weird corners the Democrats have boxed themselves into.

So she should have said she’d just break the law? I mean, I know Trump did that many times in the campaign, but that doesn’t mean lawlessness is what our political leaders should be campaigning on.

Just a matter of principle for me. Like so many things the 'pubs want to regulate, it's none of their business. I resent them expecting to tell other people what is right and wrong when they are such blatant hypocrites. You can extend this to almost all the policies of exclusion and special consideration that they want.

Good for you! One or more of those kids might be in desperate need of a good adult male role model. Someone who was schooled at one of the greatest universities in the world to bring light to truth. To courageously report the true story so that the lesser of us can find justice and fairness. Someone who has risen above family heartache and someone who has fought through serious medical issues. I bet that was time well spent…..did you teach them about the secondary break?
