But the GOP in Indiana is very conservative in the non-MAGA, long term Reagan Republican way. They refused to take this up multiple times already, before Trump’s r-word slur inflamed the father of a Down Syndrome child who happens to be a GOP Senator in Indiana, and finally the IN House rolled over under pressure and made the Senate take this vote to definitively (?) kill Redistricting before 2026. Which further inflamed the GOP divide in Indiana.
