Because the FAFO thread was starting to veer into a theological discussion, I thought it might be appropriate to start a religion thread. If I may "testify" for a moment, I used to be a Christian. I enjoyed the fellowship of a small church. I've got years of perfect attendance pins to prove it. I participated in the youth choir. I even toured around Virginia in a gospel quartet for a couple of years.
But now, I'm agnostic at best. I'm generally in the "do whatever religion you want if it brings you peace and doesn't hurt anyone else" school. The problem is that, in my humble opinion, too many are being hurt by religion. I've gotten to the point where I stay away from overly religious people and their social malignancy.
Possibly the FAFO thread was the best forum for religious discussion. After all, many believe that after the FA, the FO is hell. For others, both the FA and FO are roads worth travelling.
