Well this what us Dems do . We don't wait and consider the facts or context before reacting to the headline stories when it comes to our fellow Dems.

That would certainly fit the GOP M.O., and they're actually good at this sort of scheming and plotting, unlike, say, competently governing the country. I doubt it will work, but if there's even a chance they will try it. What's really interesting is that if this is true then the GOP is counting on Democrats to do to Swalwell what they resolutely refuse to do to their own male politicians who are similarly accused - turn against them and force them to step down. They won't remove their own accused sexual assaulters and rapists, at least not voluntarily, but they know Democrats will, so this happens (and it should be happening if these accusations are true).

Except….these are Dem women making these allegations. I could see Dem aligned groups behind this to get him out of the California Governor’s race in order to narrow the Dem options. Of course it helps that the allegations are likely true.

Well played. There is nothing that Trumpers won't excuse. Republican accused of groping and assaulting women? That's OK as long as they're pushing for other stuff I believe in - god will punish him after he dies. Democrat is accused of groping and assaulting women? He's a creepy perv and likely a traitor who needs to be in jail. Nice double standard there, dude.
