Senior staff members from California’s 14th Congressional District office and Eric Swalwell’s 2026 gubernatorial campaign are speaking out following recent allegations reported by the San Francisco Chronicle and CNN.

In a joint statement, staff say they are “horrified” by the reporting and are standing with the women who have come forward, calling the alleged behavior “abhorrent” and a betrayal of public trust.

They also addressed why some employees remain in their roles, stressing that continuing to work should not be seen as an endorsement. Instead, they say their priority is supporting their teams and ensuring continuity for constituents, especially as some staff members may not have the ability to step away without financial consequences.

Really, the same Blasey Ford who couldn't recall:

the specific house of the "assault"
the year
how she traveled to and from the house
who hosted the party.
you can't recall shit that you posted on this board within the last week let alone obscure details like that about parties that you attended decades ago as a teenager.

i'm half your age and can't remember all of those details about parties i went to as a teenager.

get real.

And it wasn't just Ford who accused him. There were two other named witnesses, and both the NY Times and NPR ran detailed articles at the time of the Kavanaugh hearing listing other women with accusations, including an unnamed woman who said that he groped and assaulted her at Yale. He's hardly the innocent victim as Republicans like to claim, although the real truth is that they don't really care if he groped and assaulted women in college and law school. MAGA Republicans still very much hold to the old "boys will be boys" idea, and any women who are groped or assaulted just need to stay quiet about it and pretend that it never happened. In their view that's how the world still works and should work - being able to sexually harass, grope, and assault women is the one of the perks of white male privilege.

He just resigned from Congress, or announced he will.
Along with Texas GOP Rep. Tony Gonzalez, who was also accused of sexually harassing and assaulting women in his office, including forcing one employee into an affair that ended with her committing suicide. Sounds like a quid pro quo deal between House Democrats & Republicans to force both of them out. At any rate, good riddance to both.

"All"? How bout any? And it's not obscure details about some random party. It's THE party she claimed she was sexually assaulted at. Maybe it's you who needs to get real.

Hey, Kash, why don't you do your job and investigate your boss's ties to Epstein, or dig deeper into all of the allegations that your boss groped, sexually assaulted, and raped women. Or that Secretary Hegseth did the same. Nah, it's just easier to troll Democrats than to actually do your job professionally and investigate them too.

You're trying to give Dems credit when none is due. This is obviously a hit job by his own party to narrow the field for the California Governor's race since, at this point, it appears two Republicans are going to be the top two finishers in the jungle primary. He's an easy make since everyone in DC and California has known what a complete dirt bag he is. When he was useful to the Dems as a hatchet man Pelosi et al put up with him. When it was convenient to dump on him, they did.

And even when the Dems "condemned" Swalwell notice they only demanded that he quit the Governor's race NOT the US Congress. Only after being shamed by the media, did some Dems call for his resignation from Congress.
Anyone who voted for a narcissistic pedophile rapist who is a convicted felon should keep their opinions of political charges such as this to themselves.

No one has reached the level of depravity that the orange god has, yet the maga cult defends him daily.

Then they have the audacity to come in when the other party doesn't immediately hang someone at the first sign of impropriaty. Wow. That's rich.

We demand accountability, the cult doubles down and elects their predators.

New accuser out today claiming she was drugged then raped. Nice. LA now investigating.

Swalwell: worst 48 hours for an individual in history?
