I meant a cardiac ablation using either heat or cold to destroy the extra electrical pathways causing the Afib. It’s a treatment for Afib as far as I understand and can be a more permanent solution over beta blockers and other drugs. But I’m sure you know about it.Depends on what you mean by ablation. I think you mean ablation as a specific treatment for atrial fibulation, rather than the removal of my pericardium (pericardiectomy), which preceded my development of Afib. If so, then no ablation of my heart. There may have been some minor and incidental ablation of my heart during the pericardiectomy. But, again, this preceded my develoment of Afib.
