I brought my son to Dallas to a mini family reunion they do every year. It has mostly been a disaster as I have been chasing my son around nonstop. (The flight out went smooth at least.)
At dinner on Friday I had to deal with my son yelling (happily but still) and trying to run off. I ended up boxing up my dinner and leaving and have skipped all meals since.
But, anyway, I also had to deal with my oldest brother at dinner talking about vaccines and Tylenol and Autism - which is honestly pretty rude considering they were essentially talking about me and my son. He then said that COVID was a bioweapon and then looked at me and say, “Actually created thanks to UNC.”
Like f’ you asshole. Sorry you chose to not get vaccinated and COVID destroyed your brain.
This will be the last time any of them see my son. I did this because last year a couple said they have never seen my son (he is 16) so I figured I should try this one time. Not their fault but this has been miserable. My oldest brother hasn’t seen my son since my dad’s funeral 10 years ago and this will certainly be the last time. Good riddance.
My other brother keeps saying they will come to visit but they have been saying that for 10 years so who knows.
Anyway, sorry, rambling. This post was supposed to be about the vaccine/tylenol BS.
Hope my son is ok on the flight back.
