1. Just make sure your PCP knows and is updating your records- they could be getting dinged for you not being “up to date” even though you are andYep. I have been getting all of my vaccines at CVS and insurance has covered everyone. Could I get it at my doctor’s office? More than likely. But while it is cheaper it is much less convenient. And some people don’t have a PCP so that makes it more difficult because you’re probably not an established patient anywhere. Novel idea. Maybe they should just stop f’ing with vaccines.
2. If you have Medicare, much preferable to get in the pharmacy- they will cover the shots at the pharmacy but not all of them at the doctors office
