School is still out for summer. In a few weeks he’ll be back on the short bus every day with his iPad and fidget spinner. Hopefully that will help.I hope Callatoroy is doing ok, he really seems worse lately.

Isn't that the motorcycle dad? Did I miss the joke?
The fact that it isn't Hulk Hogan is the joke.Isn't that the motorcycle dad? Did I miss the joke?
I do think things are better now in the wrestling industry than they were before the 2010s. Most of the talent now seem like genuinely good people. It’s not terribly surprising that folks who do the work to get famous as the product in an exploitative industry turn out to be crummy, exploitative folks once they have fame & power. (This is true for both professional wrestling & reality tv.)
Hey, let's not go there please. Folks here have kids who ride the short bus, either literally or metaphorically speaking -- or can't even ride the bus at all, in some cases.School is still out for summer. Exactly. His problem isn't related to any type of disability - he's just a raging hemorrhoidal assholeHey, let's not go there please. Folks here have kids who ride the short bus, either literally or metaphorically speaking -- or can't even ride the bus at all, in some cases.
I was going to say most kids with special needs are not raging racist assholes.Exactly. His problem isn't related to any type of disability - he's just a raging hemorrhoidal asshole
I agree that things are probably better in professional wrestling than they've ever been. The more that the business gets away from the era of the domineering carnie-style owner/promoter and more into an era of being led by real companies/business professionals, the better things will likely continue to get. (IOW, the less McMahon has to do with the business, the better it will be.)I do think things are better now in the wrestling industry than they were before the 2010s. Look at the people that are praising him. Says a lot.Hogan was booed out the building with his last appearance on TV with WWE.
I had to google “heel turn” to confirm what I thought you meant. I knew who Hulk Hogan was but I never considered whether he was a good guy or a bad guy.I do think that guy had the best heel turn in history. He had been a baby face for decades at that point. The baby face of WWE/WWF. Then he goes to WCW and they have that incredible run with the NWO. I do think WCW could have probably done that gimmick without him but that heel turn was something only he could have done.
It's just all theater. Good vs evil with some incredible athleticism thrown in.I had to google “heel turn” to confirm what I thought you meant. I knew who Hulk Hogan was but I never considered whether he was a good guy or a bad guy.
I’m kind of intrigued by this thread since I’ve never given two shits about wrestling or wrestlers since I was maybe 9 years old watching the old Jim Crockett Promotions wrestlers on B&W TV on Saturday afternoons in the mid-60s. I am fascinated that there is this much interest in a wrestling character among grown men on this board.
I was around the same age when I moved on from wrestling, but as your childhood had Crockett promotions, mine had Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, Randy Savage and other wrestlers in what I would consider the peak of professional wrestling characters.I had to google “heel turn” to confirm what I thought you meant. I knew who Hulk Hogan was but I never considered whether he was a good guy or a bad guy.
