Russia - Ukraine “peace negotiations” | Trump demands Ukraine capitulate by Thanksgiving

I am struck by how many unserious people are in power to influence very serious and grave circumstances. I thought there was no way I would live long enough to see a worse VP and Secretary of Defense than lil Bush’s. Yet here we are and it is an entire cabinet of people worse than Donald Rumsfeld.
 
So, Russia sends a plan, 100% percent written by Russia, to the US and demands that (a) the US present it as its own plan, (b) the US not change a word, comma, period in the entire plan other than translate it from Russian into English and (c) when the US complies like the faithful lapdog it is, . . ., Russia denounces the plan as not enough. The United States had a chance to recover (maybe even learn) from one term with St. Donald of Mar-a-Lago in the White House. But there's no way we come back from two terms.

I'm 71, what are the chances that I can live out the rest of my live in my home as opposed to living out the rest of my life in a box on the street because my home was bulldozed to make way for a golf course? When stuff like that happens to people, bad things follow. Which probably is Vlad "the Ras" Putin's endgame.
 
I have little doubt that the plan the US presented was written by US officials.

I also have little doubt that it is essentially a Russian plan and starting point for negotiations.

Trump is Putin's lapdog and I have very little doubt that his administration cribbed heavily from Russian sources to create the "US plan".

My only hope is that Europe will stand strongly enough with Ukraine that Ukraine isn't forced to largely accept it.
