In re: JD Vance's absence. While I realize I am giving the Regency of St. Donald of Mar-a-Lago more credit than it deserves, I actually think it is a good idea for the President and Vice-President to be in different places during events like this. As an aside, it had seemed Rubio out-maneuvered Vance in the timing and participation in this event. But maybe JD Vance picked a great meeting to miss for another family vacay, though.
