Sure, in the perfect world it would be best for there to be a cease fire while the parties' negotiate but that doesn't mean there can't be a negotiated final peace agreement. Putin wants to keep the negotiations uncomfortable, thus the fighting continues. The process is working quickly and we're not going to let him drag this out indefinitely as y'all are suggesting. First meeting on Friday; unprecedented European/Ukrainian meeting on Monday; likely meeting with Putin/Trump/Z in a couple of weeks. We'll know soon enough if this will work. I've already stated it will be difficult but worth the effort.

Not when Putin got the red carpet treatment, a military flyover, and a clapping-seal greeting from Trump.

Not when Putin took the podium first and spoke for 3X as long as Trump did, while Trump sounded beaten and tired.

Not when Trump subsequently backed off requiring a ceasefire deal and backed off punishing Russia for not committing to a deal.

The Press Secretary herself referred to it as the NOBLE Peace Prize. She also referenced Adolf HILTER.

It's like having Yogi Berra or Casey Stengel as your press spokesperson. Of course, as Trump says, she's always got those lips and the way they move going for her.

But Trump said none of the deals he negotiated involved ceasefires. You're acknowledging the conflicts he has claimed to have resolved are AT BEST ceasefires.

When it became clear to me that Biden's team was lying to me about his mental condition, I immediately started demanding a different candidate for president.

Why are you ok with your president lying hundreds of times per day? You acknowledge he's lying. Why are you ok with that? What is broken inside you that makes you willing to accept that?

There was literally nothing about that event that was embarrassing to Putin.

Event held in a place Russia still claims as its own? He loved it.

American soldiers tacking down the red carpet for him? He loved it.

Trump clapping for him like a baby seal waiting for his mama's milk? He loved it.

Talking first at a press conference on American soil? He loved it.

There is nothing you can possibly point to in that whole event that was a win for the US, or even for Trump. I don't understand how you can't see that.
 
I think it is reasonable to draw an inference that Trump's goal is to get the Nobel Peace Prize and he really doesn't know or care what the geopolitics implications are as long he can hug that Nobel prize... so sad our president is so insecure and fragile.

Not when he had army soldiers kneeling and laying down a red carpet for him while POTUS eagerly awaited him on the tarmac like an over-excited puppy waiting for the kids to come home from school.

It was embarrassing for the country. Generations of U.S. presidents were rolling over in their graves watching our current POTUS prostrate himself before a dictator.

This is why I suggested you have a paralegal watch the episode. I’ve told you multiple times that Bill Maher didn’t say Putin looked like Trump’s caddy, yet you keep making the same error.

Let me clue you in: this is not a process. Its already coming to an end with the Putin/Zelensky meeting. Reportedly, Putin told Trump that Zelensky could come to Moscow. Moscow? I trust I don't have to expand on that location.

Simply no way that Putin will meet Zelensky. Never going to happen. Putin will throw up endless roadblocks and concession demands to make sure it won't happen. All the while leading Trump along.

As with many, many things Ram posts, he mixes up who said what and when. He gets his info third and fourth hand through conservative social media, and like a bad game of telephone, it gets regurgitated on this site in a way that has little resemblance to the truth. Like when he thought America Eagle sold $350 million worth of jeans in one day.
